What are the documents required & what is the process for remittance service registration?

You can register as a remittance customer as under:-

SR. NO.	CHANNEL		REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
1	Branch	1)	Registration has to be done in person at any of the SBI branches.
1	Branch	2)	Valid NRIC (For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents) Valid Passport along with Employment Pass/S-Pass/Dependant Pass or Work permit (for non-Singaporeans) Documentary proof of address (i.e. local utility bill, driving license etc.).
2	Kiosk	1)	Registration has to be done in person at any of the six SBI branches.
2	Kiosk	2)	Valid NRIC (For Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents) Valid Passport along with Employment Pass/S-Pass/Dependant Pass or Work permit (for non-Singaporeans) Documentary proof of address (i.e. local utility bill, driving license etc.).

What is the maximum amount for remittance transaction done in a day?

You can register as a remittance customer as under:-

SR. NO.	CHANNEL		TRANSACTION LIMIT
1	Branch	SBI Account holders	No limit when paying cash or debiting SBI CASA. For cash amounts of S$20,000 or more a source of funds receipt (eg: withdrawal receipt from another bank) and address proof needs to be furnished. Customer needs to fill the source of funds declaration form available at the branch. For NETS payment, it will be subject to your NETS limit permitted by your bank. An address proof is required for remittances above S$1,499.00
1	Branch	Non SBI Account holders	For cash amounts of S$20,000 or more a source of funds receipt (eg: withdrawal receipt from another bank) and address proof needs to be furnished. Customer needs to fill the source of funds declaration form available at the branch. For NETS payment, it will be subject to your NETS limit permitted by your bank. An address proof is required for remittances above S$1,499.00
2	Kiosk		A maximum of S$ 6,000 per trailing thirty days. This is subject to the per instance NETS limit given to you by your bank (DBS/ POSB/ Standard Chartered/ UOB/ OCBC/ Citibank).

What is the time limit within which the beneficiary will be credited?

* Subject to cut off of 6pm SGT and Public Holidays in both countries.

What do I need to bring for future remittance transactions, after registration is complete?

How do I pay for the remittance transaction?

The payment options for various channels are as under:-
